| Before the internment of W.W.II my father wrote letters to the President questioning the constitutionality of the internment. He was arrested by the FBI, diagnosed as schizophrenic with paranoid tendencies and institutionalized. Follow the death of my mother I began searching for my father a man I hadn't seen since I was three. Finally locating him in a halfway house for the chronically mentally ill I find a murky distance separates him from the man I met and the man I wished would be. Donuts, is an experimental documentary the follows the lingering aftermath of war. |
